PARTNERSHIPS WITH SCHOOLS
UNIVERSITIES AND TRAINING CENTERS
Bulgari has established partnerships with Schools and Universities offering students the opportunity to have a privileged view of Bulgari’s business and working together on environmental challenges. Below a summary of key initiatives and partnerships.
The partnership with University ‘Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna Pisa’ aims to support students of the Master in Environment Management. Topics like Life Cycle Assessment, Circular Economy and Innovation are at the core of cases studies and projects that students have to address with the support of our internal colleagues.
Bulgari is part of the IME Initiative (Institut des Méties d'Excellence) helping young people (18 to 29 years old) without a diploma (or just Baccalaureate) with training initiatives. The professional training program has the objective to promote excellence in the métiers of Craftsmanship, Creation and Sales.
In May 2017, Bulgari and St Martins University of the Arts London have renewed their collaboration through the LVMH “Sustainability & Innovation in Luxury - Fostering Creativity” program. The objective is to support young talents with a focus on eco-design, sustainability and innovation.
BULGARI JEWELLERY ACADEMY
Bulgari founded in Valenza an internal training program for young craftsmen – the Bulgari Jewellery Academy. In this way, Bulgari wants to enhance employees’ professional skillset and to create employment opportunities.
Professional goldsmiths are transferring their knowledge and expertise in the manufacturing of Bulgari Jewellery to young professional leveraging on creativity, knowledge sharing and talent valorization.
LOCAL COMMUNITY INITIATIVES
Manifattura Bulgari Valenza and Banco Alimentare
Manifattura Bulgari Valenza and Banco Alimentare started a partnership in June 2017 to support families in need in the area of Valenza, with the daily donation of a number of meals.
The “Mani Intelligenti” Foundation"
Fostering social and local economic development is a priority that Bulgari wants to achieve also through its participation to the Mani Intelligenti Foundation, launched in June 2018. The Foundation aims to train new generations of master goldsmiths, creating a hub of talents in the area of Valenza, as well as being an accelerator of careers and professions.
