BS 10012: 2017 Certification

Since 2021, Bvlgari has held the BS 10012: 2017 “Data protection – Specification for a personal information management system” certification, a benchmark for personal data management developed by the British Standards Institution.

This certification provides evidence of accountability, as required by REG. EU 2016/79, and confirms the implementation of an adequate privacy management system.

According to the Specification for the Management of Personal Data outlined by the standard BS 10012:2017, Bvlgari is committed to:

• Monitoring and maintaining the Privacy Management System implemented in accordance with the requirements of applicable regulations
• Adopting a risk-based approach in relation to the company's data protection procedures
• Continually improving the system of personal data management, verifying the progress of the objectives set

This certification is subject to, at least, annual review in order to check its adequacy regarding the objectives of the Privacy Management System, and the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
