Celebrating the encounter between Swiss watchmaking and Japanese tradition, its dial - framed by a diamond-set bezel - is meticulously handmade by master Yasuhiro Asai using the ancient Urushi lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlays technique. Layer after layer of black lacquer, derived from the sap of his own tree, is applied and polished by hand, while fragments of mother-of-pearl form a luminous motif just 0.2 mm thin. Powered by an automatic movement, this timepiece embodies the harmony of light, artistry and precision.
