It has been, and still is, a wonderful experience so far. I have had the pleasure to work with great people who have taught me a great deal. There is a wonderful atmosphere surrounding us, and we have one of the strongest team cohesions I've ever seen. Likewise, the spectacular majesty of our creations is something very precious to be part of. Even before I started working at Bvlgari, I had the chance to know the Bvlgari family because my father used to work with them. Everything was a result of that: through these people I had immediate access to this wonderful world and had the opportunity to get in contact with the most important and refined experts in precious stones. From my very first day, I began to learn about stones and their quality, with mentors such as Paolo and Nicola Bvlgari, who taught me everything.
In 2013, I was promoted to Jewelry Creations Executive Director and I also manage the Design Center where all our ideas are brought to life by our talented team. Working at Bvlgari is truly special because there is perpetual renewal of ideas and creations, through continuous discovery of new, incredible stones and the aim to achieve the highest level of the product. I literally grew up with Bvlgari and will be eternally grateful to the company for my personal and professional growth. My special contribution is to express and communicate the beauty, aesthetic sense that rules each project, and the lightness of proportions that keeps a large, voluminous stone suspended from a necklace, as if it were leaning against it. I am proud to be part of the “great Bvlgari family” – all of its people are driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and deal with new challenges daily. I arrived at Bvlgari after three years' experience in the engineering sector, putting into practice at Bvlgari what I learned at the engineering desks. I worked for nine years in Jewellery Production Planning, first as a specialist (for three years) and then as manager. I have been Manager of Jewellery Product Development and Innovation for five years now. My challenge is to lead my team towards a common goal: to achieve the perfect aesthetics in a jewel, within the budget and on time, while coordinating the activities of the various departments involved – from the Design Centre to prototyping units, from marketing to planning, and from purchasing to production. To work at Bvlgari is to have an exciting experience in the world of luxury. My career path at Bvlgari started in General Services and Valuables Transport, then I joined Logistics and became the manager in charge of Bvlgari Jewellery Logistics. I am now Head Manager of the High Jewellery Production Laboratory. I manage the product development process and high jewellery production. My daily challenge is to motivate the goldsmiths to create ever more sophisticated jewellery of high quality. Bvlgari offers a vast array of opportunities, allowing you to try many parts of the whole business process. I've had the opportunity to work in different company divisions, which increased my skillsets not only from a technical point of view, but also from my own personal perspective – as I have worked with many people of different cultures and nationalities. I enjoy that I receive frequent feedback – both constructive criticism to help me improve upon my weak points, but also positive reinforcement to enhance my strong points. I feel lucky to be a part of a great company with a grand history. I started in Jewellery Assembly in Serial Production, and then undertook a position as a jewellery manufacturer, first at a junior level and then at a senior level. My main responsibility is to maintain the synergy of top brand products with the design department, respecting costs and delivery times. My main challenge is to deal with increasing complexity of the products we work with. My special contribution I can offer to the whole team, everyday, is my expertise and technical skills. I always offer my very best work in interpreting the jewels assigned to me, both from a technical and stylistic viewpoint. My job gives me the opportunity to deal with gemstones and designs that are completely unique in the world, and I love being enriched by the experience. I share in this experience with very skilled goldsmiths, and they give me the opportunity to grow and learn. I feel I am an integral part of a team with a particular focus on quality – quality of the product, yes, but also quality of the work environment. My professional path began more than ten years ago in Valenza, my hometown. After a few years, my love for art and learning led me to Terni, where I graduated and continued to cultivate my passion for jewellery craftsmanship. Then one day, a friend of mine gave me some fantastic news: Bvlgari was searching for people to join its High Jewellery Laboratory. The company involved and inspired me from the very first day, as the responsibilities they gradually assigned turned into personal challenges rather than pressing tasks. My big challenge? To improve myself alongside craftsmen of the highest level, as they inspire me to achieve skills that are my dream to master. The “small” contribution I try to add is to help my colleagues in all matters relating to project fluidity, timeliness and encouraging project implementation. I’ve always had a great passion for craftsmanship and the precision of handmade goods. I had already worked in Burkina Faso for a local craft centre; then in Florence, I had some brief experiences in small leather manufacturers. There, I had the good fortune to attend a professional training course in leather at Scandicci High School, after which, thanks to the agency, I was called for an interview. Today, I am responsible for the colouring unit at Bvlgari. I deal with the whole production process that leads to the colouring of the rib. My challenges began with my arrival in Italy, where I’ve constantly faced new situations. But every day I commit myself to learning more and more about my job, looking around me to discover the secrets to best perform my tasks. Despite being a famous worldwide company, people at Bvlgari are humble and always helpful, and relationships are human and genuine. It is an atmosphere that makes work all the more pleasant and satisfying. I would wholeheartedly recommend a career at Bvlgari because it is a great company with professional, skilled people. Bvlgari offered me a great opportunity to expand my skills as I helped to create of genuine works of art, with leather. I was working for a small leather manufacturer that managed jewellery packaging when I heard that Bvlgari was recruiting new staff for its internal laboratory. Although I came from a different line of business, I applied and shortly after was called in for an interview. Since then, Bvlgari has put its trust in me, always involving me in new challenges. Today I'm in charge of the assembly of bags of fine materials, sometimes accessorised with gold and diamonds. The name “Bvlgari” is synonymous with beauty and elegance; despite being a worldwide company, it feels like one big family.

I started my career at Bvlgari about eight years ago in the After-Sales Service Department. I worked on our watch production team and am now an Expert After-Sales Service Technician whose job is to repair complicated watches. This fulfilling line of work allows me to apply and express my technical skills and expertise, while I continue to constantly learn. The complexity of our timepiece movements and products is both interesting and motivating. Sometimes I even have to recreate a piece in order to repair a vintage watch, because it does not exist anymore. At Bvlgari there are highly capable specialists in all domains and departments, with whom I can exchange ideas and knowledge, as well as get support.
