In order to strengthen its commitment to ethically conducting its business, taking care of the social and environmental impact of its activities in the long term, Bvlgari has created a Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR) Department.
The CSR Department coordinates all Bvlgari Divisions and Departments in order to promote and integrate responsible practices into business operations and to ensure that LVMH Group social and environmental commitments are properly translated into Bvlgari operations worldwide. Moreover, CSR Department proactively participates to National and International working Groups aiming at defining and improving Supply Chain Sustainability Standard.
The Bvlgari CSR Management System is composed of three main fields:

Bvlgari’s commitment to CSR builds also on the adoption of standards and principles that drive its activities encouraging the continuous improvement of social environmental performances.
RJC Code of Practices Certification
CSR Department has the responsibility to promote Bvlgari’s and RJC’s values among the whole supply chains.
In 2011, Bvlgari obtained the RJC Code of Practices (RJC COP) Certification, having adopted a management system based on RJC COP Standard. The certification has been successfully renewed every three years.
In 2020, Bvlgari achieved the renewal of the RJC COP Certification based on the new RJC Code of Practices 2019 Standard. Additional information on the principles of the Responsible Jewellery Council and Bvlgari’s approach to the COP Certification can be found here.
LVMH Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is a set of shared rules, practices and principles that represent the foundations of the common culture of LVMH Group. It guides the day-to-day conduct of the Group's business activities everywhere in the world in terms of ethics, social responsibility and respect for the environment.
Bvlgari has decided to fully adopt the new LVMH Code of Conduct, whose principles are in total harmony with the commitments made by the company and the values that have guided it over the years. Adherence to the LVMH Code of Conduct is an opportunity and an incentive to further strengthen all the operating guidelines and systems that Bvlgari has developed over the years, guaranteeing coherence between business values and activities and ensuring that the common principles are implemented and disseminated. BVLGARI HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY
Bvlgari's commitment to respecting Human Rights is expressed in its Human Rights Policy, signed by the CEO.
Bvlgari is committed to respecting all Human Rights within its own operations and to promoting the adherence to the same Human Rights standards among its contractors, suppliers and business partners. Through this Policy Bvlgari commits to comply with national and international regulations and standards including among others the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Code of Conduct ex Legislative
Decree 231/2001
The Code of Conduct ex Legislative Decree 231/2001 is an essential element of the organizational, management and control program implemented by all Italian Bvlgari companies pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, which introduced a regime of administrative liability of legal entities in addition to the civil and criminal responsibility of any natural person committing an offence. The aim of the Code is to confirm to all addressees the commitment of all Italian Bvlgari companies to carry out their activities in such a manner not to commit any of the offences set out in Legislative Decree 231/2001.

The protection and promotion of Human Health, Safety and Well-Being are Bvlgari’s top priorities in everything the company does. and Bulgari Annex on Mineral Supply Chains
Bvlgari believes that the continuously advancing in its ethical, social and environmental performance is a fundamental component of the excellence of the products delivered to clients. In leading its activities, Bvlgari is committed to complying with all applicable laws, regulations and national and international conventions, as well as with best practices, in particular regards ethics, human rights, social responsibility and protection of the environment and business partners & suppliers are required to do the same. Therefore, all third parties (suppliers, distributors, subcontractors, etc.) have to respect the principles listed in this “LVMH Supplier Code of Conduct and Bulgari Annex on Mineral Supply Chains”, in line with LVMH Group expectations, taking into account Bvlgari's strong commitment with RJC Responsible Jewellery Council.
