Serpenti Infinito Exhibition in Shanghai
Bvlgari kicks-off the celebrations for the Year of the Snake in Shanghai with a unique art exhibition inspired by its legendary icon Serpenti. An immersive experience into the art, craftsmanship and infinite transformations behind the Maison’s powerful sign, featuring 28 artworks by 19 international and Chinese artists, of which 11 created exclusively for the occasion, and the new 2025 Serpenti collections.
A universal symbol transcending different cultures, space and time, since 1948 Serpenti has encapsulated the rich stratification of meanings and attributions connected to its animal of inspiration. This perpetual transformation ignited the creative vision of media artist Refik Anadol, whose new work “Infinito: AI Data Sculpture” has being unveiled as an absolute preview at the exhibition. The three-dimensional sculpture, placed in the center of a 360-degree mirrored room, creates a spectacular interaction between light and form.
Like a journey to explore the snake’s multifaceted and ever-evolving identity, the exhibition unfolds into the three chapters Crafting serpents in history, Snakes in the arts and Contemporary transformations in which guests had the opportunity to admire a magnificent selection from Bvlgari Heritage, watches and fine jewelry collections, including some unreleased High Jewelry one-of-a-kind creations, on display in the three chapters of the exhibition.
