Would you like to introduce yourself? 

My name is Nicola and I am a Data Domain Manager at Bvlgari. Before moving to Rome in 2022, I was Business Intelligence Manager for the Bvlgari Supply Chain in Ireland for 5 years. The international experience I gained in Dublin was enriching from both a personal and a professional point of view, as I was exposed to diverse cultures and different ways of approaching work.

What personal characteristics have helped you succeed in your role? 

My role involves ensuring that Bvlgari data assets are effectively managed, protected, and leveraged to facilitate data driven decision-making for all stakeholders, thus driving business success. I implement business intelligence and artificial intelligence solutions, gathering and linking data across departments and business units in order to identify business opportunities. 
This requires a mix of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. On the technical front, I am able to draw upon over 13 years of professional experience in the field of data since I completed my MSc in Statistics & Computing Science at the University of Padova in 2010. As for the interpersonal side, I have capitalised on my ability to establish effective and proactive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve our business objectives.

What is it like to be part of the LVMH Group?

Since I arrived in Rome, collaboration within the Group has become stronger and I have had the chance to jointly drive many initiatives, especially in the Artificial Intelligence area, leveraging the cross-Maison synergy. In addition, LVMH events have given me a 360-degree perspective on the Group’s strategy and allowed me to connect with similar stakeholders from other Maisons to hone our focus and envision our next steps.

Do you have a fun fact about yourself while at work?

Well, I know my colleagues enjoy the fact that I like to think about which restaurant we are going to for lunch all morning, as I love to promote team-building activities. On top of that, we love having coffee breaks in total Italian style, where we often organise some sports activities for the evenings together, like padel and tennis matches.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

My goal is to keep growing in the field of Data and within the Maison and LVMH. Breaking down silos between our operational sites is key to my growth, and I want to ensure transparency and reliability in data-driven decisions that benefit the company. This can be done by studying the innovative technology trends that, as we all know, move super-fast, especially in Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative Artifical Intelligence areas. A never-stop-learning approach.
