Fondazione Bvlgari And Save The Children

A Masterclass To Inspire The Future Leading Generation

In honor of World Children’s Day, the Retail & Luxury Goods Club and the Social Enterprise Club, two Student Clubs at Harvard Business School hosted an engaging masterclass featuring Fondazione Bvlgari and Save the Children. Bvlgari Deputy CEO Laura Burdese and Save the Children US Chief Development Officer Luciana Bonifacio highlighted 15 years of successful partnership between the Italian luxury brand and the global humanitarian organization.  A commitment that has reached over 2.3 million children in 39 countries through 139 projects aimed at strengthening high-quality education, youth empowerment, emergency response and fighting poverty.

Both Fondazione Bvlgari and Save the Children strongly believe that cross-sector partnerships are key to achieving sustainable change, leveraging the unique and complementary expertise that each organization brings to the table. Delivering significant impact to date — including $115 million raised globally through the custom-made Bvlgari and Save the Children silver jewelry collection and donating €95 for each piece sold — this partnership demonstrates the critical importance of the public and private sectors working together to drive progress around the world.

The masterclass welcomed students from the clubs offering a unique opportunity to be inspired by a positive model of philanthropic cooperation while also gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the retail and luxury goods sector. Furthermore, it marks the beginning of a series of initiatives for Bvlgari involving strategic academic institutions and major universities worldwide, aimed at motivating and engaging the next generation of leaders in the corporate social responsibility space.
