The Bvlgari Calla Collection by Mary Katrantzou

For her debut as Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories at Bvlgari, Mary Katrantzou draws from the heart and history of Rome, Bvlgari's home and timeless source of inspiration, to introduce the 'Calla', a new pattern and identity for Bvlgari Leather Goods and Accessories. Inspired by the intricate mosaics of the Terme di Caracalla – the inspiration behind the Divas’ Dream jewellery line – the sensuously curved fan-shaped pattern finds multiple interpretations through the collection’s exquisite workmanship, intricate treatments and innovative designs.

The Serpentine Duo

With a trapeze silhouette inspired by the cut of gemstones and a unique new double snakehead metal handle fully-engraved with tiny scales, the new Serpentine Duo tote bag showcases Bvlgari’s rich legacy.

The Serpenti Sugarloaf

The new Serpenti Sugarloaf, a padded-volume nappa shoulder bag, draws both its form and name from the exquisite and rare high-domed variant of Bvlgari's signature cabochon cut. The sinuous shapes of the Calla motif are interpreted with a complex matelassé motif and intricate lines that are precisely engineered and crafted by specialist Bvlgari artisans at the Maison’s leather goods Atelier in Florence, Italy.

The Ginkgo Clutch

By extracting the Roman-inspired Calla emblem from its intricate all-over pattern and showcasing it as an individual silhouette, the fan-shaped Ginkgo clutch is born. Suspended by a supple leather bracelet, the clutch is masterfully crafted from fine nappa leather and hand-set pavé crystals on sculpted metal, an exceptional fusion of jewellery-making artistry and leather craftsmanship.
