DEEP BLUE BEAUTY

The breathtaking protagonist, a round-cut sapphire originating from Sri Lanka weighing 66.8 carats, is like the sea itself: unique for its clarity and, in its raw center, for the intensity of its deepest blues.

SHIMMERING CONTRAST

The geometric pattern of the necklace evokes the traditional blue-and-white handcrafted maiolica ceramics with a subtle tiled effect when paired with 288 buff-top sapphires and 50 carats of shimmering diamonds. Echoes of chalky, baroque cities tumbling into the sea are found in the diamonds that encircle the central sapphire.

During more than 1,650 hours of creation, the craftsmen felt that the necklace was unfolding beautifully but remained adamant that perfection had not yet been achieved. Inspired by the foam of their native sea, they undid the work and started over. The result is a soft yet dense mesh that floats lightly against the skin, delicately embracing the prized central sapphire.
