Mediterranean Queen
Liquid colours and disrputive volumes collide in a jewel destined to become legend. Inspired by a Bvlgari necklace dating back to 1969, that with its intricate gold and diamond construction evokes sea waves, the Mediterranean Queen masterpiece, is an expression of the Roman jeweler’s daring. Five marvelous oval cushion-cut Paraiba tourmalines, totally weighing about 500 carats, are connected by sinuous, curved elements set with emeralds and diamonds.

NATURE'S TREASURES
A rarity among rarities, this unique precious layout counts unbelievable 473,82 ct, with the central stone weighing 153.00 ct on its own: an extraordinary achievement considering that only one Paraiba tourmaline is found for every 10.000 diamonds.
It's all in the details. A masterpiece which required unbelievable 2,400 hours to be completed, the necklace is a triumph of volumes and shapes, colour and brilliance, perfectly orchestrated together. Indeed, the lagoon colour gems and the emeralds respectively enhance each other's qualities, playing a unique symphony of blues and greens.
Crafting joy with colour, Bvlgari glorifies the eccentric beauty and inimitable nuance of the precious Paraiba gems. With its intensively individual approach to gem colour, cut, shape and light, the Roman Jeweller combines the stones in a very independent way, with Roman flair and sensuality, and a cultivated eye for beauty that reveal the secrets of each gem.
