Bulgari leather goods recommendations and precautions

Keep BVLGARI accessories and leather goods in their original case or cotton pouch after use

  • Keep your leather goods away from water, chemicals and heat.
  • Protect your leather goods from humidity. Should they get wet, absorb any moisture immediately using a soft dry cloth. Do not wipe, just pad it with a soft woollen cloth
  • Accidents may happen: in case of stain of the leather/fabric, try to clean and dry immediately with a soft white dry cloth, tamping gently. Do not apply aggressive liquids on leather or textile surface (e.g. alcohol, solvents, stain removers). If the problem persists, please refer to a BVLGARI boutique for further assistance.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or artificial light. The colour of your leather goods may fade. White bags are extremely sensitive to light and the leather may turn yellow if it is exposed for too long.
  • In order to retain its original shape, avoid over-filling your BVLGARI bag. This will prevent damage to the shoulder strap, the fasteners and the clasps. When not in use, keep BVLGARI bags filled with white tissue paper in order to keep the original shape.
  • Avoid contact with rough or abrasive materials, which may damage your leather goods surface.
  • Patent leather should not be allowed to touch PVC-coated surfaces as the colour can migrate from these surfaces onto your leather accessory.
  • BVLGARI embroideries are made with semi-precious natural stones: avoid contact with aggressive liquids or solvents.
